Job Description:
Distribute linen daily or as needed.
Pick up empty linen carts daily or as needed.
Remove trash/garbage from all assigned areas and transport to dumpster as needed and as per training.
Remove soiled laundry from all assigned areas and transport to laundry department as needed and as per training.
Empty all Sharp Containers as per training.
Perform all assigned duties assigned by Management.
Maintain all supplies and equipment for cleanliness and working condition daily and as per training.
Store and secure equipment and supplies daily.
Accept and put away deliveries as scheduled.
Clean Nottingham and Westminster Dining Rooms on evening shift.
Attend mandatory and department in-services and meetings.
Follow all infection control and fire and safety guidelines daily.
Report all safety and repair issues to Management as needed.

Qualifications:
Ability to speak and read English for job requirements.
Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
Ability to physically perform job duties.
Adhere to dress code.
Ability to work assigned hours.
Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
and occasionally push up to 40 lbs.
Ablility to climb stairs, steps stools and ladders.
Ability to bend, reach, turn, twist, handle, walk, and feel equipments and items to perform their job.
Porter Work Environment:
The general work conditions, elements the employee may be exposed to while performing the duties of their position can be odors, feces, urine, vomit, trash, rain, snow, heat, cold and food waste.
